I just got the new Stoney Curtis Cd and was actually quite impressed. There are a few songs on it that fall into the pop ballad area but overall it a real cool blues rock album. The album shows nods to Texas blues, and even Led Zep. I think that the album shows a fresh approach to blues oriented rock and suggest you give it a listen!
The Stoney Curtis Band are an acid blues and/or acid jazz three-piece band whom are upcoming artists. The Stoney Curtis Band from Shrapnel Records prepared to release the debut album from the veteran blues artist on July 19 2005. The album title is "Acid Blues Experience", which is a blend of classic blues rock and psychedelic blues rock.
The Stoney Curtis Band have been working in Los Angeles and Las Vegas clubs for years making their own brand of psychedelic blues rock, readying their show for the road ahead.
