Our 3 week tour of Louisiana opens this weekend at Chuck's in Addis on Friday and the Bear's Den in Morganza, Saturday. More dates are listed in the Calendar section at the end of this newsletter. PLAYER PROFILE: LEON ABNER



LEON ABNER - Drums:



Joining me for the Louisiana Tour will be Mr. Leon Abner on drums. Born in Palm Springs, California, Leon’s toured and recorded with Elvin Bishop, the Chambers Brothers and P Funk. He studied music at Cal Arts College. Check out Leon drumming on this track from our "King of the Rockin' Blues!!!" CD . . . .





PLAYER PROFILE: TERRY GRANIER



Terry Granier - Bass:



Handling the bottom end on this tour will be my longtime good friend and Plaquemine native son, Mr. Terry Granier. We first started playing music together back in the late '70's around South Louisiana, with Eddie Smith and keyboardist Steve Houk. He's an excellent musician, rock solid bass player and all around good guy! He also is one helluva wood cabinet builder. Awesome!

We've been in the studio since October of 2010, recording our next album. I don't know where the time goes because it seems like we just started. All I can say is that I really like how it's shaping up and we're shooting for an early 2012 release. Stay tuned!
