(VISALIA, Calif.) - SoCal Blues-rock guitarist Alastair Greene, just back from touring with the Alan Parsons Project, returns to again perform this year at the Visalia Blues Brews & BBQ Festival, Garden Street Plaza, Old Town Visalia, Friday, September 2. 6-10 p.m. Free admission. Greene is set to embark on a mini-NorCal tour that also includes dates at the Poor House Bistro in San Jose (September 3) and Shooters in Fresno (September 4).
Greene - who has been the touring guitarist in the Alan Parsons Project for the past couple years - also hosted the popular Blues Night at The Savoy in Santa Barbara every Thursday this past Summer. Alastair is currently putting the finishing touches on his new CD Through The Rain, the follow-up to critically-lauded Walking In Circles (Riatsala Music). Guitar ace Ty Tabor from rock greats King's X duets with Greene on the track, "By The Way."
