I started a quest to find terrific blues music and incredible musicianship when I was just a little kid. I also have a tremendous appreciation of fine musical instruments and equipment. One of my greatest joys all of my life was sharing my finds with my friends. I'm now publishing my journey. I hope that you come along!

Rock-it Science

I have had the privilege of sharing music over the WNTI air waves since 2001. I am a big fan of live music and have been seeing shows in the NY/NJ area since 1969 when I saw Paul Butterfield open up for Janis Joplin at Madison Square Garden. Johnny Winter joined Janis for the encore. I try to get out to see a live band every week. I am active on several music newsgroups on the Internet where I gather material for my show.

Rock-it Science
My show is blues/roots/rock based with occasional interviews. Past guests include John Mayall, Mick Taylor, Kim Simmonds, Leo Lyons, Chris Youlden, Johnny Winter, Snowy White, Mick Clarke, Ian Parker,Robin Trower,Jim McCarty [ Yardbirds], Ian Mclagan, Nils Lofgren, Rick Vito, Tony Joe White, Buddy Whittington, Todd Wolfe, Peter Karp, Jackie Lynton, Studebaker John,Jay Geils,Dave Mason, Mark Andes,Rod Price and others. A typical show of mine will include both old and new British blues,Chicago and Texas blues and blues rock You will also likely hear a collectible or unique live track and periodically some guitar driven blues from around the world as well.

My inclination is to always play real good music that is not likely to be heard on the radio, satellite or otherwise. If you are looking for hits, I am probably not your guy. My fellow WNTI deejays and myself are all very serious about our music. The name of my show Rock-it Science is just a reminder of our mission statement...
