Although after considerable research I have not been able to find any verification of this, it is reported by Music Maker Relief Foundation that Haskel “Whistlin’ Britches” Thompson from Winston-Salem, NC has died from an aggressive form of throat cancer I am saddened by this news. All our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.
