I have just received the new Roy Trevino release entitle "Roy Trevino". The recording covers a lot of ground with plenty of lush lead and slide playing. This is a 10 track recording all penned by Trevino. The musical construction is radio oriented blues with plenty of hooks. Many bases are covered here including Bo Diddley, Bob Marley, Santana/Los Lonely Boys and straight up rock. The stand out track on the recording is "Thank You". Give it a spin!
