I started a quest to find terrific blues music and incredible musicianship when I was just a little kid. I also have a tremendous appreciation of fine musical instruments and equipment. One of my greatest joys all of my life was sharing my finds with my friends. I'm now publishing my journey. I hope that you come along!

Part Time Love - 'Jumpin' Jack Benny
Entertainer extraordinaire -Jumpin Jack Benny is one of the most entertaining acts in the music industry today. Audiences are amazed by their Las Vegas style performances. Benny Cortez brings his M/C-animated-Hi Energy Blues to the stage reminiscent of the great 1950's rock & roll performers with smoking hot guitar work from Tony “Fingers” Naranjo. The Jumpin Jack Benny Blues Band, have collectively toured/recorded with B.B. Chung King: (Mike Stover-Bass) Little Milton, John Mayall & WAR: (Steve Roybal-Drums) Gentlemens Blues Club: (Tony Fingers, Ben Cortez, Mike Stover) Bo Diddley & James Cotton: (Kirk Nelson- Keyboards). Jumpin Jack Benny placed 2cnd runner up 2011 Battle Of The Blues Harps and 2cnd runner up 2008 for The International Blues Challenge sponsored by The Southern California Blues Society. Jumpin Jack Benny is on "Best of The Southland Blues" CD released by Southland Blues Magazine. Their new debut C.D. release “I’ll Be Alright” incorporates a variety of blues styles from Hi-Energy Blues through Swing, with elements of Rock & Funk, climaxing with 2 explosive live tracks.
