Blues bass and guitar player, brother of Syl Johnson and Jimmy Johnson, Mac Thompson was born Mac Johnson in Lamar, MS.died of cancer in Chicago, IL at the age of fifty seven.
Mac Played bass with Clarence Gatemouth Brown and Magic Sam among others.
