Bottom Feeders Blues Band

Bottom Feeders have been around the mid Michigan area since about 1996, but started out under the name "Contempt" which was a heavier straight forward rock band under the direction of guitarist Tim Beckett. With the addition of Steve Casanova, Eric VanLandingham and various other changes, Bottom Feeders has morphed into what you see and hear today. When you go out to a Bottom Feeders show, you'll hear music ranging from Marvin Gaye to Metallica, and thrown into the mix are some of the snidely comical yet musically serious original songs from the bands first CD "The Liquor Store" along with previews of songs from the upcoming CD "Older But No Wiser". Bottom Feeders is a fun live act, having drinks with the crowd, constantly joking on stage, unrehearsed attempts at songs we probably don't know, and the ever growing popularity of snippets like Steve singing the theme from the Jeffersons for seemingly no reason, Eric's metal rendition of happy birthday, and who can forget the growing list of "Ballads", by ballads we mean 10 second comical clips of songs by dead musicians
