Dear Friends,
The summer festival season is over
but luckily there are many exciting shows, festivals and tours
ahead.
This year has been awesome so far. I had the pleasure taking my
Blues to France the first time last March. I have spent June, July with gigs in
Czech Republic, Hungary and I did a short but fantastic five day run in AL and
GA with the excellent Ian Siegal. In August, i made it to eight States, driving
thousands of miles as the first part of the new album supporting tour. I
reunited with an old friend of mine Billy Gibson for a few gigs in Georgia in
September and then took a few days off preparing myself for the next road
trip.
The new album "Moving" has been doing very good so far. In August
the album has reached #4 on Roots Music Report Internet Radio Airplay Chart and
it`s been in the Top 12 ever since. Correct me if i`m wrong but i think this is
the only full acoustic album in the Top 25. For the first time in my career i
made it to the Living Blues Radio Chart as well. I`m very happy about it. I
would like to thank everyone at Vizztone Label Group for doing such good job. I
must thank every journalist and radio DJ for supporting this album. I truly
appreciate it.
Like i said, there are many exciting shows ahead. I"m
wrapping up a tour of the Gulf Coast with shows in Gulfport, MS and Mobile, AL.
Pensacola and Orlando, FL (TONIGHT!). Then I'm off to occupy my cabin on the
Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise. On the cruise i`ll have my friend Maurice
Nazzaro with me featuring on harmonica in a few tunes. In November i`m heading
to France and Spain for a nice two week tour. In France i`ll be at the Blues sur
Seine festival which is one of the biggest blues festivals in the region. I look
forward to it. December is time for the band. St Louis, MO, Louisville, KY,
Roanoke, VA - here we come!
Please click on the link below to see tour
schedule. I hope you can make it to some of these shows. Until then take care
and Happy Halloween to you and your loved ones.
