Mississippi Marshall was raised in the Mississippi Delta down around Sunflower and Bolivar County. His music roots date back to before he was a teenager traveling around the delta playing with his dad’s band. Marshall has since developed his own delta thumbing guitar style that is uniquely his own. When you hear it, you know it’s Mississippi Marshall. His songwriting and vocal styling is reminiscent of the seasoned bluesmen who influenced him from a young age.
