show with many special guest musicians, benefiting Children's Hospital

(Mission Viejo, CA) - In keeping with the Spirit of the Season, the band BLUESPOWER
hosts a special holiday show benefiting Children's Hospital Los
Angeles, Wednesday, December 23, at Costello's (formerly Garmans), 27657
Perta Rd., Mission Viejo. 7-10 p.m. Donations requested. Also a
raffle, with special prizes; and auction with silent bids. More info on

"This
(benefit show) is in remembrance of my aunt, who was instrumental in me
playing music", states Kenny "Big Daddy" Williams, who fronts
BLUESPOWER on guitar and lead vocals. "She died at a young age of
leukemia, which they now have a cure for. We want to continue helping
the research to make it possible for children to survive such a
devastating cancer by bringing together some of my most giving friends",
concludes Williams, who also hosts a new weekly Jam Session each
Wednesday night at Costello's.
Special guests scheduled to perform on December 23 include: Papa J,
blues harpist extraordinaire and President of the Orange County Blues
Society, with guitarist Richard Hassebrock; Richie Onori, longtime Socal
musician and drummer for multi-platinum group, Sweet; Bill Grisolia,
frontman for New Blues Revolution and founder of the yearly New Blues
Festival; talented female blues guitarist-vocalist, PEACH, Mick Adams,
who fronts top tribute band, Mick Adams and the Stones; and more tba.
