I caught up with LaMonte today and this is what he had to say:
I'm so excited because I'm going to be in the studio soon working on my 1st CD project which will consist of some of my Favorite Blues Giants, B.B.King, Albert King, Freddie King, Buddy Guy, Tommy Castro and some of My own originals I promise you it will be Slamming, Bluesy, Soulful, Funky and TOTALLY CHICAGO STYLE AND TOTALLY LaMonte DeMille & THE KEY OF "C" CHICAGO STYLE BLUES BABY BLUES YOU CAN FEEL....LOL STAYED TUNED FOR DEMO SAMPLER to be released soon

I can tell you I'm looking forward to hearing it!

LaMonte DeMille & the Key of "C" Chicago Style Blues band just recently Debuted @ Reily's Club in San Diego to a modest crowd of blues lovers. As an Artist LaMonte has personally played all over the world and most of the U.S.

Born and Raised in Chicago Ill. LaMonte has traveled the country and remains active as a Merchant Marine for Military Sealift Command doing Blues, Jazz, Gospel and Reggae. But Chicago Style Blues is his "thing" now and he has a tight 8 piece band with real Horns. LaMonte has played with other acts around the San Diego area including The Stoney B Blues Band @ Humphrey's and the House of Blues Sandiego, Fuzzy and the Blues men @ Humphreys and the Kracken in Solana Beach with Doug Allen of the Mar Dels.LaMonte has played @ Buddy Guys Legends in Chicago in Jan 2009, The Kingston Mines in Chicago with Lindsey Alexander as the Host Jan 2009 , Vance Guitar Kelly in Chicago 2009 @ The Genesis Club. In Hawaii @ the Jazz Mines with Project Monday an 7 piece Contemp Jazz band and @ The Candle Light night club In Portland Oregan in 2008 with the Big House All stars featuring Lloyd Jones on Guitar etc.
