I started a quest to find terrific blues music and incredible musicianship when I was just a little kid. I also have a tremendous appreciation of fine musical instruments and equipment. One of my greatest joys all of my life was sharing my finds with my friends. I'm now publishing my journey. I hope that you come along!

I'm Gonna Write You a Letter With My Chicago Typewriter - Pugsley Buzzard
Pugsley Buzzard plays the piano somewhat like Chico Marx, Thelonious Monk, Professor Longhair, Fats Waller and the Devil. He resembles a grizzly bear in a porkpie hat rummaging through a piano. His music spans the entire gamut from dark hoodoo blues musings to good time rollicking boogie piano. Pugsley writes his own material but also likes to interpret all sorts of classic material from old parlour songs, show tunes, work songs, blues, jazz, funk, cartoon music, film scores and more. He has composed for film and theatre and ensembles big and small.
