I started a quest to find terrific blues music and incredible musicianship when I was just a little kid. I also have a tremendous appreciation of fine musical instruments and equipment. One of my greatest joys all of my life was sharing my finds with my friends. I'm now publishing my journey. I hope that you come along!

Choice Cuts - Big Pete - New Release review
Just received my copy of Choice cuts by Big Pete. Big pete is a Dutch blues vocalist and harp master (Pieter "Big Pete" van der Pluijm) who is well established in the Netherlands. Pete was handpicked for a European memorial tour to honor the music of Lester Butler. After a number of successful projects Pete was formally introduced to the US market with the Mannish Boys that we reviewed just recently. On this American solo debut with a huge line up of who's who in the blues world ( Kim Wilson, Paul Oscher, Johnny Dyer, Al Blake, Alex Schultz, Kid Ramos, Rusty Zinn, Kirk Fletcher, Shawn Pittman, Rob Rio, John Marx, Mojo Mark, Willie J. Campbell, Jimi Bott)Pete puts out a great release of Chicago style blues. This guy definitely deserves a good listen!
Enjoy!
