I started a quest to find terrific blues music and incredible musicianship when I was just a little kid. I also have a tremendous appreciation of fine musical instruments and equipment. One of my greatest joys all of my life was sharing my finds with my friends. I'm now publishing my journey. I hope that you come along!

Dust My Broom - Paulie Bignell and Vic Polyik's blues Cosmonauts
Paulie has been manning The Detonaors for the past 12 odd years. Guitar player, band leader, PA operator, producer, booker and good time general lackie. He also plays guitar with the country hillbilly band Gatorbait (5 odd years). He rares up doing live shows with, Chris Wilson, Lil' Fi, and Sweet Felicia and various others when he can fit it in. This is his new side/solo project.
What's it about? Paul has stepped up to the mic. Front and left of center. Its a bit rock'n'roll, a bit blues and a bit country. Done Paulie style, rockin'. Some new originals and some old favorites.
Currently recording his new album in St Louis with Preston Hubbard on Bass and Joe Meyer on drums, it wont be long now...
Dubbed by many as a “harmonica ace”, Victor Polyik is paying homage to Vintage Jump Blues with immense harmonica tone and impressive style. Eleven years in Canada saw Vic play and record with some of Blues finest including Shuggie Otis, Jack Lavin (Powder Blues), Guitar Shorty, Amos Garrett and Jeff Simmons (formerly of Frank Zappa’s Mothers).
Back on home ground, Vic’s worked with Australian music icon Don Walker, Red Rivers, Ian Moss, The Lemon Squeezin Daddies and many more
