Joe Gaspar is a multi-talented musician arrived in Canada 7 years ago from the European scenes; blues was always his guidance. He was a founder of the Romanian power-trio Quo Vadis, playing bass guitar and doing lead vocals for over 12 years.
He is constantly researching the ways of music; due to his outstanding vocal abilities he is invited to join groups of different genre, singing in rock operas, playing keyboards, guitar, bass or even conducting choirs.
Joe Gaspar Band was created in September 2011 to give life to his original ideas. The power-blues-trio include Joe on bass and vocals, Steve Dupont (Photo Perfume, Crackband, Rocksnake) on drums and Jamie Young (Jungle Bones) on guitar. Both Steve and Jamie are seasoned musician from the Ottawa music scene with solid blue-steel experience.

I started a quest to find terrific blues music and incredible musicianship when I was just a little kid. I also have a tremendous appreciation of fine musical instruments and equipment. One of my greatest joys all of my life was sharing my finds with my friends. I'm now publishing my journey. I hope that you come along!
